Happy New Year!!! Thanks to each and every one of you for making 2007 so great! Here's to many more installments of teh cats, with or without Clyde (may he rest in peace).

This one was actually drawn several months ago, but the person who ordered it asked that I hold off on posting it so the recipient wouldn't figure out it was for them. It seemed a fitting installment before tomorrow's business.
Tomorrow: RAGNAROK.
And Wednesday, for a limited time: buy a comic, get a fan club membership free. Details forthcoming.

Here's a little walking Pip I made. I've never animated anything of any real complexity before, and relied heavily on Preston Blair's indespensable books for this.
Feel free to use it for a link back to the blog or whatever.

Favorite stuff from 2007: Red Beard

Okay, so this movie isn't from 2007, but this is the year I finally saw it. This trailer doesn't do it justice, and I highly recommend it. It might even make you cry.
I'll probably post a couple more of my favorite things before this year is out.
A comic will be posted later this evening. I'm going to stick with one post a day once the new year rolls in for two reasons: my parents will be in town. I guess that's only one reason, but two people.
There is a backlog of comics, and I am sending comics as they are done, so there is no slow down in mailing them. My turnaround time is still about two weeks, so if you've ordered something over two weeks ago and it hasn't shown up, let me know.
Finally, even though I'm slowing down to one a day (and none on Sundays...usually), I'll probably do catch-up days where I post several at a time. We'll see.

Kid Icarus

For the record, Kid Icarus was my favorite NES game back in the day. It's not too well-known, so there probably won't ever be any references to it in the Laugh-Out-Loud Cats. Though it might be fun to see Kitteh or Pip turned into an eggplant with feet at some point.
There will be a comic later, and I'm organizing the archives on flickr into more manageable sections.

Laugh-Out-Loud Cats #650 and a note

Laugh-Out-Loud Cats #650
Originally uploaded by Ape Lad.

If you own a Laugh-Out-Loud Cats comic and also have a flickr account, will you find yours on flickr and note that it's yours in the comments? You don't have to, but it might be nice to know for posterity's sake. A lot of people have already done this, but if you would rather people not know, that's fine too. I completely understand.
Also, please note the new poll over there to the right. I'm curious about how people are reading these. RSS? Flickr? Something else? A combingation of the three? I suppose asking the question here on the blog will automatically skew the results, but I thought I'd ask anyway.
---UPDATE---
I had to reset the poll. I did it wrong. It's right now. Sorry. Thanks. Good night.

I'll still take and send orders, but will hold them in reserve until the New Year.
I'll also post stuff I've been meaning to get to: wallpapers, a papercraft Soapo box, and other surprises along the way.

That said, expect #650 later this evening.
